Management Team

A 25-year veteran in the high-tech industry, Pierre Blais is an entrepreneur who possesses the skills required to develop MultiCorpora into a large organization.

Pierre began his career as a computer programmer and in 1987 championed a business success story in Quebec by providing dealership management software solutions (ERP) to the automotive industry. In 1993, he joined the North American leader in automotive software solutions, the Reynolds and Reynolds Company, where he led the Quebec operations. In 1997 he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the Canadian subsidiary. Under his leadership, the Canadian operations doubled its revenue and earned reputable awards for service.

In April 2005, Pierre joined MultiCorpora as the new President and Chief Executive Officer. In business since 1994, MultiCorpora has successfully implemented and proven its R&D and commercialization efforts and is now growing rapidly. Since his tenure, the company has doubled its operations, has won significant large government and enterprise accounts, and has opened a European office to better serve growing markets.

With his entrepreneurial experience and the skills he acquired working 11 years for a large corporation, Pierre is leading MultiCorpora in its mission to improve the efficiency of individuals involved with language management by leveraging MultiTrans, a unique software suite that manages an organization’ multilingual assets.

Daniel Gervais
Executive Vice-President and Co-Founder

As a co-founder of MultiCorpora, Daniel Gervais has over 12 years of experience in the software industry. Daniel started as a mechanical engineer, specializing in production process optimization in the manufacturing and automotive industry.

In 1994 he joined the MultiCorpora project with Gerry Gervais and has been involved in producing innovative software solutions to optimize the multilingual information production chain. Daniel has been responsible for product development and technology strategies and initial commercialization stages of the company. 

Since product launch in mid 2000, Daniel has also led the sales and marketing initiatives, growing the client-base to several hundred commercial and governmental organizations across North America and Europe. 

As Executive Vice-President and second in command, Dan currently leads the R&D team and acts as a strategic liaison for the sales team. Since Daniel has been with the company since its early days, he wore many hats which make him a great resource as we grow the team. He is well known in the industry as a thought leader in language technology and is frequently invited to speak at key industry events.

George Stamatakos
Director of Marketing and North American Sales

Mr. Stamatakos brings over a decade of experience in sales & marketing of enterprise software solutions to MultiCorpora. His broad base of experience spans product development engineering and design engineering through to client services, sales, and marketing. Prior to joining MultiCorpora, George held high exposure positions as Director, Business Development and Assistant Vice President, Sales and Marketing, where he was responsible for the sales and distribution of specialized product and services lines for companies that specialize in asset management solutions.

George carries a proven track record of bringing visions to market and strategically planning and choreographing corporate marketing initiatives including product launches, industry surveys, media releases and specialized trade show events. His entire career has been focused on management positions leading, mentoring and supporting multi-disciplinary teams and he is passionately working with MultiCorpora’s talented team, collectively striving for global growth.

Jean-Pierre Pesch
Director of Sales, EMEA

Jean-Pierre brings more than 18 years of experience in Sales and Marketing.

He was the former Sales Manager at Telelingua International where he led the domestic sales group and performed international sales. During his stay at Telelingua, Jean-Pierre managed to increase the company turnover by 20%.

Prior to Telelingua, Jean-Pierre held various sales and marketing positions within the telecom sector including at KPN Ram Mobile Data where he served as a Marketing Director responsible for the wireless data marketing strategy and where he successfully launched the first WASP (Wireless Application Service provider) services in Europe.

Prior to joining KPN Ram Mobile Data, Jean-Pierre worked for more than 7 years for the Polaroid Corporation within the digital imaging group where he held various positions including Account Manager, Product Manager and Distribution Manager.

Jean-Pierre holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from WIFOS Brussels and has a post-graduate degree in Marketing Business-to-Business from EHSAL Brussels.

Luc Parent
Director of Finance and Administrative Support

Luc Parent has nearly twenty years of experience in accounting and finance, and he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Université du Québec en Outaouais in 1986. He is a certified accountant as well as a certified management accountant.

During the twelve years he worked for an accounting firm, Luc developed a solid expertise as an advisor to small to medium businesses of the Outaouais. Since 1998, he has occupied senior accounting and finance positions in two major enterprises of the Ottawa-Gatineau region: first with Les Entreprises David Lauzon Ltée., a hardwood floor manufacturer, then with Expographiq, an exhibition booth maker.

Luc Parent joined the MultiCorpora team in June of 2006. His great experience in finance, his fine analytical abilities as well as his strong desire to participate in the success of MultiCorpora are important inputs that continue to contribute to the development of the company.

Pierre Bélanger
Director, Client Services
Pierre Bélanger possesses a solid track record for driving business opportunities for prominent, world leading software technology companies. He has managed product solutions that include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs) and HR software.
Pierre has developed both macro and micro expertise at client implementations and has a knack for identifying key issues and obstacles and then aggressively proceeds to address the real needs. His partnered network includes some of the world’s leading technology names – IBM, CGI, Cap Gemini, Accenture and TELUS – to name a few.

MultiCorpora has empowered Pierre with the opportunity to help grow its people, its clients, and its bottom line and it all begins with expertise! He leads the Customer Support and Professional Services teams and is responsible for operational infrastructure, ensuring that the right resources are in the right places for MultiCorpora’s clients. Pierre acts as a very effective resource for defining and resolving systems and process issues. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards and has completed the Essentials of Business Administration (EBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
